birds on air, 2022  4′31″ Mit diesem Kurzfilm unternahm ich den Versuch, sogenannte „atopische Konstellationen“ zusammenzuführen, also den Versuch zu unternehmen, feinfühlig, mit einem Sensorium für das Äußere, in der Umgebung auf Verhältnisse und Lagen zu reagieren. In diesem Beispiel bin ich auf Vögel auf dem Funkmast gestoßen, was mich zu zur englischen Wendung »birds on air« geführt hat. Wie aber lässt sich diese Wendung zurück ins deutsche übersetzen? (Vögel auf Sendung?, Vögel an Luft?) Das habe ich verschiedene Freund:innen gefragt und ihre Antworten mit dem Video verknüpft.

With this short film I made the attempt to bring together so-called "atopic constellations", that is, to try to react sensitively, with a sensorium for the external, to circumstances and situations in the environment. In this example I came across birds on the radio mast, which led me to the english phrase "birds on air". But how can this phrase be translated back into German? (Vögel auf Sendung?, Vögel an Luft?) That's what I asked various friends and linked their answers to the video.
