This year we are opening our Theatermaschinen portals to the satellites that spread our words to the worlds. We wanna create a radio program from everyone for everyone. It is an open mic, a sound playground and stage for words, which you can hear live at our festival center or online at home in your pajamas. Our news program “Täglich grüßt das Murmeltier” will inform you on the daily business at Theatermaschine, including the shows of the day. We will have bad taste music awards, podcast formats as well as interviews with the performing artists and much more. Every day there will be an open mic slot, where you can just share your thoughts with the infinite expanses of the radio.

A radio and performative program of reading aloud complete texts. In this issue Joana Ferraz and Marion Hesser hold four sessions with the reading of two texts by the anthropologist Els Lagrou – The adornment people and the naked person and Becoming-anaconda – about embodied perception, art and agency, the relations between skin, drawing, song and image in different processes of becoming. 

 

The two texts can be found among the publications of Selvagem - Cycles of study about life, an organization based in Brazil that connects knowledge deriving from indigenous, academic, scientific and traditional perspectives and other sources. https://selvagemciclo.com.br/

In jeder Folge des Podcasts wird eine kontroverse kulturpolitische und/oder theaterwissenschaftliche These “aufgetischt”. Dazu laden wir, Paula und Greta, immer neue Gäst:innen zum Essen ein, die diese These moderiert durch uns diskutieren. In dieser Folge wird die These "Die Freie Szene macht Kunst für die Freie Szene und lässt sich von Steuerzahler:innen finanzieren” diskutiert.
